You’ll have access to the entire condo and the assigned parking stall, except for the owner’s storage box, which is secured inside the closet. You’ll also have access to the laundry room and gym.

Because the building is primarily home to long-term residents, we ask guests to be polite, quiet, and respectful, and to keep interactions with neighbors minimal.

We offer a warm, unobtrusive hosting style. Kaela and her co-hosts are very responsive through the booking app (Airbnb/VRBO) during regular business hours. If you don’t hear back quickly, you’re welcome to text us. For urgent issues—especially trouble accessing the home or anything safety-related—please call right away.

This is one of the more lively and vibrant neighborhoods in the Seattle area. It’s very dense urban area. The area becomes even more popular on weekends and holidays. Restaurants Bars and Marijuana shops are all within blocks. You will see some homeless and occasionally publicly intoxicated people. If the windows are open, you may also hear the sounds of the city. Otherwise inside the unit it is very quiet and serene. This area is best suited for people comfortable with urban life and all that it entails.

Transportation – We are located in the Capital Hill neighborhood in Downtown Seattle. Getting here is generally easy. Public transportation is readily available from the airport. Check out Soundtransit.org to plan your trip.

Getting around - Like most heavily populated cities getting around here is best done by foot, public transportation or car service like UBER, LIFT or by Taxi. This can save the headache of trying to navigate parking.

Parking – We do have secured parking nearby for our guests use. However, its awkward getting in and out of the garage and the garage and the spots are intended for very compact cars. Which can be difficult. For guests who aren't able to navigate garage parking we do provide a city of Seattle parking by zone permit which allows guests to park on the street. Finding parking can be a challenge and you may have to walk several blocks. There is a nearby self-pay lot that is easy for quick access.

Twilight Terrace offers a quiet, cozy retreat in the heart of Capitol Hill, just steps from First Hill and downtown Seattle. While the home itself feels calm and tucked away, stepping outside places you right in the middle of the city’s energy.

You’ll be within easy walking distance of major landmarks like Amazon Headquarters Seattle, Cal Anderson Park, and Seattle Central College, along with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and nightlife throughout Capitol Hill.

For medical stays or convenience, you are very close to several of Seattle’s primary hospitals, including Virginia Mason Medical Center, Harborview Medical Center, and Swedish Medical Center First Hill Campus, all just minutes away.

Getting around is simple with access to the Link Light Rail at Capitol Hill Station, along with bus lines and rideshare options like Uber and Lyft. Many guests find that walking is the easiest way to explore the neighborhood.

This is a lively, dense urban area. You may encounter typical city activity, including street noise, nightlife, and visible homelessness, especially on weekends and evenings
The building is primarily home to long-term residents. We kindly ask guests to be respectful, keep noise to a minimum, and be mindful in shared spaces
While the unit itself is quiet, you may occasionally hear sounds in the hallways or notice cooking smells or marijuana, which is legal in Washington State
The secured parking space is compact and can be difficult to maneuver. It is best suited for smaller vehicles
Street parking is available with a provided zone permit, though it may require a short walk. A nearby paid lot is also available for easier access
The parking space measures approximately 80 inches wide, and detailed access instructions, including a video, will be provided prior to arrival
The building is secured, and guests are expected to follow all building rules during their stay

Additional reminders:

No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the unit or in common areas. Smoking is permitted on the street at least 15 feet from entrances
Pets are not allowed unless pre-approved. Unauthorized pets will result in additional fees
The unit uses a portable heating and cooling system. On warmer days, keeping windows closed and shades down will help maintain comfort, while evenings typically allow for a natural cross breeze
