Floors-
Please help us keep our hardwood floors without scratches and carpets without stains we are a no shoe home please remove your shoes
Heating can Cooling -
We do not have a forced-air furnace. We are heated with radiant heat and fireplace. A Note About Seattle Weather: Seattle is known for its generally mild climate. Warm and hot summer days are common, but hot nights are much less common, and temperatures typically cool noticeably in the evening and overnight. Once the outdoor temperature drops below the indoor temperature, opening the windows and using the provided fans can help bring cooler evening air into the home. During unusually hot days or heat waves, keep the windows and drapes closed and leave the air conditioning on to help prevent warm air and direct sunlight from heating the home. Once the evening air cools, you may open the windows to help cool the rest of the house.
Noise-
Please keep the noise down to a respectful minimum. We are located in a medium-density urban residential neighborhood with a mix of detached homes, townhomes, duplexes, small apartment buildings, and newer multifamily developments. The area is generally quiet and residential, although homes are relatively close together, so you may occasionally hear neighbors or normal neighborhood activity.

This townhouse is a very special place to stay, it’s such an oasis of calm and was a perfect base for our first visit to Seattle. The decor is really tasteful and cosy and the layout of the house worked really well for our stay. I was with my husband and a friend and we had so much space, having two en-suite bathrooms was a bonus too. There are some great spots nearby (Broadcast cafe on the corner, Seattle Fish Guys and Chuck’s Hop Shop a short walk away) and it’s convenient to get the bus into downtown Seattle. We also walked home from Capitol Hill a few times which takes about 30 minutes but is down a lovely leafy residential street so made a nice walk.
